Vandalism can be a persistent problem for Scottish schools, local authorities and public sector organisations. For the Skills Centre in Bathgate, the need was straightforward: additional, secure storage on a site where exposed units can become targets for antisocial behaviour and opportunistic interference. A standard container was not enough. The solution needed to signal clearly that security had been taken seriously.

How did RFB deliver?

The Solution

RFB supplied a purchased converted container, fitted with the anti-vandal modification to meet the site’s security requirements.
The modification included:

Heavy-duty razor wire fitted securely along the container roof
A powerful visual deterrent against climbing or unauthorised access from above
Robust container construction built to last, with no shortcuts on finish or fitout

The razor wire is fitted securely to the container roof, making it extremely difficult for anyone to attempt to access the container from above.
