Bespoke Workshop for Clackmannanshire Council
Clackmannanshire Council needed a large, practical space for their greenkeeping team – somewhere to store lawnmowers, gardening equipment, and carry out day-to-day workshop tasks. Off-the-shelf solutions simply would not cut it. RFB Containers delivered a custom-built, linked container unit that gave the team exactly what they needed: a spacious, weatherproof workspace designed around how they actually work.
What problem was the client facing?
The Challenge
The council’s greenkeeping team required substantial secure storage and a functional workshop space capable of housing large equipment including ride-on lawnmowers. The solution needed to be robust, condensation-free, and properly equipped – not just a basic storage box, but a working environment fit for a professional grounds maintenance team.

How did RFB deliver?
The Solution
RFB supplied two 40ft New High Cube containers, linked along their elevation with the dividing sides removed to create a single, large open-plan space. The conversion included:
- Internal linking of both containers to create one open-plan storage and workshop area
- Grafo Therm anti-condensation coating applied to the roof
- Full electrical fit-out including lighting and sockets
The result was a custom workshop built to the council’s exact requirements, with clear and consistent communication throughout the project to make sure every detail was right.

How have RFB helped?
The Result
The greenkeeping team now has a secure, spacious, and fully equipped base to work from. The open-plan layout gives them the room they need for large machinery, while the electrics and anti-condensation coating ensure the space is practical and comfortable year-round.

Great professional service, fantastic product, very flexible for any adaptation, excellent value for money, very accommodating, constant communication and verification of customer requirements, with good follow up.
